Katrina found herself drawn to the field of psychology. As a college student, she loved volunteering for the crisis hotline- where she assisted many callers struggling with a range of many crises from domestic violence or sexual assault to suicidal thoughts and behavior. Katrina’s ability to intervene in high stress situations and help others during crises led her to become a psychotherapist. Katrina is passionate about working with a variety of different clients, including those struggling with the aftermaths of trauma, neurodiversity, or clients with a prior diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder. She also is a fluent Armenian speaker.
Katrina has a way of making therapy feel easy and comfortable. She adds this special human touch to therapy, where clients share that they know how authentic and genuine she is. Therapy with Katrina is collaborative, where she works together with her clients to meet their goals, at a steady pace that just feels right.
Many may not know that: Katrina loves to sing! She grew up in Abu Dhabi where she first discovered karaoke as a young child. Katrina is a huge fan of Celine Dion, and even shared the stage with Celine in 2015. She also is a huge Harry Potter fan.
