Jennifer is passionate about serving people of all walks of life, and she is especially invested in working within the Latinx community. As an ordained pastor, she often heard people’s stories of pain and suffering but felt limited in her ability to help them. She knew she wanted and needed to do more to service others, so she became a therapist. Jennifer’s approach to therapy is holistic, open-minded, and person-centered. Clients like you really find themselves drawn to Jennifer, and appreciate how approachable and accepting she is.
Jennifer works with clients of diverse ages and backgrounds. She is dedicated to providing a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free environment where clients can explore and heal. She believes in treating individuals as unique, whole beings, considering not only mental and emotional aspects but also our physical and spiritual wellbeing. Jennifer draws from many different evidence based practices, including: cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment, internal family systems, and expressive arts. She also is a fluent Spanish speaker.
Many may not know that: Jennifer has lived in 6 different states and 2 foreign countries. She can binge-watch hours of TV but doesn’t enjoy watching movies that are longer than 90 minutes. Jennifer also drove a Vespa for a number of years and still misses it.
