Coming from careers in education and sports media, Josh found himself yearning for a more profound sense of meaning and satisfaction- to work directly with people. This inner yearning led Josh to become a clinical social worker. As a therapist specializing in supporting men, couples, and individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those grappling with chronic pain, autism, ADHD, or neurodiversity, Josh finds deep fulfillment by supporting clients beyond just physical and emotional pain- where every aspect of who they are is fully embraced and celebrated.
Josh is trained in many evidence based practices, including pain reprocessing therapy, psychodynamic, CBT, somatic and integrative/holistic therapies. He has a way of bringing humor and empathy into the therapy room. Clients like you find Josh easy to talk to, friendly, knowledgable, and humble. He is committed to providing you with a nonjudgmental space, where you’ll talk about everything from navigating relationships to understanding yourself better.
Many may not know that: Josh loves to travel, do road trips, and has a goal of visiting all 50 states! He currently has been to 38 states. As a “child of the 90s,” his favorite TV shows include Friends and Seinfield. After a traumatic experience as a young teen, he found success through engaging in his own exposure therapy- utilizing the tools he learned as a therapist to help him overcome some of his own fears and trauma.
