Nicole’s journey to becoming a marriage and family therapist was driven by her innate desire to help children facing various challenges. Her experiences as a summer camp counselor exposed her to children dealing with issues like bullying, eating disorders, family conflicts, anxiety, and depression. This experience fueled her determination to learn more about how she could support children through their struggles, leading her to specialize in working with children and families. Nicole firmly believes in the healing power of art, play, and creativity, integrating these into her therapeutic approach. Creating a nurturing environment where painting, sculpting, and imaginative play are central, Nicole guides clients on their own individual therapeutic journey. Clients like you appreciate Nicole’s friendly, easy-going, and nonjudgmental nature, finding comfort in her compassionate presence as they navigate through life’s challenges.
In addition to her work with children, Nicole also enjoys working with adults, couples, and families grappling with trauma and relationship issues. Her commitment to serving others is evident through her volunteer work at a domestic violence shelter, where she provided counseling to survivors of domestic violence and intimate partner violence. Drawing from a variety of evidence-based therapies, Nicole incorporates approaches such as Narrative Family Therapy and a Psychodynamic lens in her work.
