With a passion for art and human relationships, Tamara was instantly drawn to the field of community mental health. Her desire to help others and make a difference has only intensified. She has found great pleasure in seeing the changes that are achieved by creating a space to hear and understand others. As a Zeeva clinical supervisor, Tamara guides, mentors, and supports associate therapists. Tamara enjoys helping associate therapists reach their professional goals.
Tamara is both a licensed marriage and family therapist and a registered art therapist. She has extensive experience providing individual, group, and family psychotherapy within community mental health. She specializes in working with children and teens, as well as working with clients in multiple areas of severe diagnoses. As an Armenian speaking therapist, she takes an active role within the Armenian community through promoting and leading mental health related presentations and outreach events.
Many may not know that: Tamara was born in England. She identifies as a “sci-fi nerd” and also loves the show, Friends.
