Ingrid holds her upbringing close to her heart and understands some of the unique experiences that can come with growing up between cultures, navigating family expectations, and finding your own voice. As a Spanish-speaking therapist, she values meeting clients in ways that feel familiar and comfortable. Ingrid is drawn to understanding each person in the full context of their life, relationships, experiences, and what matters most to them. Ingrid has a gentle, patient way of helping people feel welcomed and at ease. She brings genuine warmth into the room, listens closely, and helps you make sense of what you’re experiencing while opening the door to perspectives you may not have considered before.
She especially enjoys working with adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem, cultural identity, family dynamics, life transitions, grief, stress, and school-related concerns. She also provides support to caregivers. Her additional training in school social work informs her understanding of how school experiences, family life, and emotional well-being intersect. Her approach is person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed.
Many may not know that: Ingrid loves trying new recipes and baking cakes, which often means her neighbors end up with the extras. Her pup was supposed to become a therapy dog but did not quite make the cut, so he now provides plenty of unofficial emotional support at home. And despite being terrified of heights, Ingrid decided to face that fear by going skydiving for her birthday.
