After immigrating to the United States, Yasi rebuilt her life from scratch, navigating many unknowns, and learning firsthand that it wasn’t always easy. That journey deepened her resilience, expanded her empathy, and taught her the profound value of connection. It also ultimately led her to the work she was always meant to do, becoming a psychotherapist. She brings genuine curiosity and care to every client, and with her gentle, grounding presence, you will find yourself slowing down, feeling at ease, and showing up exactly as you are, without having everything figured out first.
Working with Yasi means feeling truly heard, perhaps for the first time. She holds the hard conversations with such compassion that even the most difficult sessions leave you feeling more hopeful and more connected to yourself. She knows firsthand what it means to feel uncertain and to navigate the unfamiliar, and that lived experience makes her the kind of therapist who truly gets it, without you ever having to explain yourself. Yasi also speaks Farsi and warmly welcomes Farsi-speaking clients.
Many may not know that: Yasi's two Samoyeds are her favorite walking companions, and she wouldn't have it any other way. She and her husband share a love of exploring new restaurants and uncovering hidden culinary gems. Yasi is, by her own admission, a true foodie.
