Jennifer always found herself drawn to people and their stories. Before becoming a therapist, she was working as an ultrasound technician in a hospital or teaching middle school students where she found herself creating spaces for others to feel comfortable and open. No matter the setting, what mattered most to Jennifer was helping people feel heard, genuinely cared for, and accepted. It was not until the COVID-19 pandemic, when Jennifer saw firsthand the emotional impact isolation had on students and their families. She immediately began setting aside extra time to connect, listen, and be present, which led her to realizing that therapy was the path all of her previous experiences had been leading her toward. Today, Jennifer brings experience across outpatient therapy, residential treatment, community mental health, and work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Her warmth, curiosity, and dedication to lifelong learning make her a wonderful addition to Zeeva.
Clients often describe Jennifer as just so easy to talk about the things they've never shared before. She believes meaningful therapy begins with trust and has a way of creating space where you’ll feel so comfortable, accepted, and free to be yourself. Her approach is compassionate, thoughtful, and collaborative, balancing empathy with meaningful questions that encourage reflection while keeping your goals at the center of the work you do in the room together.
Many may not know that: Jennifer loves visiting art museums and learning about art history. As a young child, the first day of school almost always meant getting ready to hear her last name pronounced incorrectly. Funny enough, in middle school, she was convinced she was going to become the first female Major League Baseball player.
