Mallory’s journey to becoming a therapist was shaped by profound personal loss. In the midst of grief and trauma, she experienced how deeply pain can affect your sense of self, your body, and your connection to the world around you. Therapy gave her a place to make room for emotions that felt complicated, conflicting, and at times impossible to hold. More than anything, it helped her rediscover hope and trust in her own capacity to live through what had once felt unbearable. Today, Mallory brings that same steady hope into the therapy room with clients here at Zeeva.
Mallory approaches therapy with depth, curiosity, and deep respect for the parts of you that may not yet make sense. Grounded in relational and psychodynamic therapy, she understands the experiences, relationships, patterns, and emotions that have shaped the way you move through the world. Mallory creates space for the full complexity of your experience. Her work is grounded in the belief that you are more than what has happened to you, and that healing does not require you to erase, minimize, or rush through the parts of your story that still hurt.
Many may not know that: Before becoming a therapist, Mallory received formal training in ballet and modern dance. Her years as a dancer continue to shape her interest in the relationship between the body, trauma, grief, and identity. She still enjoys dance classes today. Outside of therapy, you can also find her reading, playing volleyball, and befriending the neighborhood cats
