Before becoming a therapist, Samantha spent more than a decade working in data science, primarily in the fast-moving world of startups. Eventually, she made a major career transition of her own, leaving tech to pursue work that felt more connected to people, meaning, and more aligned with the life she wanted to build. Samantha’s personal understanding of what it can feel like when the path that once made sense no longer quite fits ultimately led her toward a career centered on helping others navigate those same moments of uncertainty, transition, and possibility. Today, she especially enjoys working with adults and young adults navigating career changes, burnout, relationships, family conflict, grief, identity, and the many transitions that can leave us asking, “What do I actually want right now?”
Samantha brings curiosity, depth, and a highly thoughtful approach to therapy. She is especially drawn to the moments when insight alone is not enough, when you can understand a pattern intellectually and still find yourself living it. Together, you may uncover something you have not noticed before, question assumptions that have quietly shaped your choices, or explore what actually fits your life now. Drawing from ACT, CBT, DBT, somatic, psychodynamic, and culturally responsive approaches, Samantha tailors the work with care, helping clients translate deeper understanding into choices that feel more intentional and true to what matters most.
Many may not know that: Samantha's love for cats once led her to volunteer at a local cat café for an entire year. She also spent a year traveling across the United States on a cross-country road trip, living in and exploring different communities along the way. Between a decade in tech, a major career reinvention, and a year on the road, Samantha has never been afraid to get curious about what might be on the other side of a new direction.
