Shreya Vanwari, AMFT

Psychotherapist

Shreya has a deep respect for the stories we carry and the trust it takes to share the parts of ourselves that may feel painful, complicated, or difficult to put into words. She feels honored to be invited into each person's healing journey and believes some of the most meaningful work happens when we feel safe enough to approach even the most uncomfortable parts of ourselves with curiosity and compassion. Shreya brings patience, consistency, openness, and authenticity into the therapy room, creating space to explore your experiences at your own pace.

Shreya is EMDR-trained and has a particular passion for working with trauma and PTSD. She has experience supporting individuals navigating challenging relationships, domestic violence, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, family and relationship concerns, and significant life transitions. Her approach is grounded in the understanding that the ways we learn to protect ourselves often develop for a reason, even when those patterns no longer serve us. Shreya provides therapy in both English and Hindi.

Many may not know that: Shreya has always loved stories and can easily get lost in a good book, and she enjoys writing herself. Her dog recently turned an impressive 17 years old. She also loves swimming at the beach and has even tried scuba diving.
